I notice one pattern in myself. After long rest from boxing, the will to fight suddenly coming back again. It is as if there is attracting force that keep me in this sport.
But it is easier to say “I want to fight” when you’re in a good condition. The fire was there until you find yourself injured.
Now im preparing for my third fight. Just 1 weeks after the training camp , I found my chest feels painful, Im not sure what was the cause. Is it because of the sparring? or was i pushing myself too hard during conditioning?
Whenever I take a deep breath, i would feel pain. I thought it was just muscle tear, but im convinced it is the bone.
I also got a concussion. If i shake my head a little bit, I would feel the pain inside my head. looking up and down will cause same effect.
Now this is not the first time I got injured. I broke my nose when im preparing for my first fight. My left nostril can’t even propely take air in right now.
My right ribs were injured 3 days before my second fight. If put a little pressure, i would feel pain. But it was manageable so I keep fighting
and it makes me lost motivation. I dont want to train, I dont want to spar. I just want to stay at home. I hate it.
Maybe this is just what every fighter feels. I really look up to those who stay in this sport for long.
it really easy to quit , but I want to become the best. I want to become the master of this art. I want to become a world champion. Tho it sounds stupid, It is the reason why i keep fighting
There is no shortcut. This feeling of giving up will always haunt me. I pray myself got the conviction to keep going
